& exciting projects

Bridges District, Dubai Creek Harbour, Dubai

A mixed use, residential masterplan, the Bridges District occupies a unique site along Dubai Creek.  The urban nature of the project is punctuated by the landscape, and the unique topographic change & slopes within the site are used to accentuate, create interest & promote interaction with the public realm environment.
A linear spine connects through the centre of the development, with a formal urban park at its heart.  An active waterfront promenade extends the length of the project, with a ‘creek front’ Urban Beach area located centrally for use by residents.
Location: Dubai
Site Area: 150,000 sq.m.
Function: Public Realm, Parks, Waterfront Promenade & Urban Beach

Surf Ranch, Abu Dhabi

The first of its kind, Surf Ranch is a mechanical surf park bringing the sport to a region where surfing is not otherwise possible.
The design narrative & character work to address the question, what is surf culture in the middle east?  How do we blend Californian influence, with the local vernacular.
The landscape became a tool for crafting & guiding the visitor arrival experience, from the gateway, first ‘glimpse’ of the wave, beachside arrival, then ‘view from the line up’.
A diversity in the landscape has also been protected, to accommodate operations ranging from the day-to-day through to large scale international events.
